Consultants: Do You Really Need A New Website?
Let me suggest a different way ...

Imagine that you're a consultant working with a franchise brand. You have one of their micro websites with lots of information on it, so why spend your hard-earned money on another individual website to just repeat what's already been said?
If you're a busy consultant, juggling clients with trying to do your online marketing, we can help you!

We have clients working with us at SLO Media who are just like that. Their franchisor gives them a micro website with all the information people need to discover them in their local area and see what services they offer. However, they didn't bother creating another individual website, spending a fortune on duplicating what their franchisor created for them.
"They have one of our custom blogs instead!"
As a consultant, be it in financial services, coaching, referral marketing, or any one of a whole host of industries, what you need to do is show people your knowledge and wisdom as well as prove your authority when out networking. SLO Media can certainly help you with that.
We create a custom, branded blog for our consultant clients, with links to their micro website as well as their social media channels. Each week they blog with us, offering a piece of their knowledge and wisdom for people they are connected with to take away and apply in their own lives or businesses.
"And it takes them just 20-minutes a week because we do all the work for them!"
What's that mean Steffi? Well, they simply send in their 'raw thoughts' by email each week (we send them regular reminders) then create a finished, polished blog post with perfect spelling and grammar, a licensed metaphor image and all the bells and whistles a blog post needs to get ranked on Google and get engagement on social media.
Rinse and repeat week in week out and you'll build a great little resource you can send to people when they ask about something you're an expert in. We have clients who do exactly that when they see questions on social media. They find one of their own blog posts, copy the URL and past it in as a reply, automatically linking to it and proving they are an authority on the subject.
"But it's not just blog posts with us!"
Oh no, we have a range of add-on services which extend what we can do for you. Yes, blogging is the heart of what SLO Media does (and we are incredibly good at it), but did you know we can do daily social media sharing for you? How about a weekly blog mailer to go out to your list each week when we publish your blog post? We can even create trackable content for you, be that photos, videos or daily marketing graphics.
And you'll even get featured on our weekday Facebook Live that showcases our clients' new blog posts and receives hundreds of views per day!
One word of caution though. If you are thinking about working with us, it is possible that your franchisor doesn't allow any form of individual website or blog because they want to keep a 'level playing field' across all of their consultants.
Check your Terms & Conditions first as we could put a lot of work in getting you all set up, simply for you to get a slap on the wrist and ordered to cease and desist once we've published your first blog post. It has happened before, so we feel that we should point it out to you.
But if you can, then don't waste your hard-earned money creating your own website, or your valuable time spending up to 10 hours a week doing it all yourself, work with the experts at SLO Media and we can do it all for you.
We do all the work and you get all the glory? What's not to like about that?
Until next time ...
